Welcome to Reception at Kestrel Way. Throughout the year we will update our Google Classroom to share information, useful links, newsletters, and photographs of our learning and experiences which we hope you will find useful.
PE days are on a Tuesday and Wednesday for Wrens and Monday and Thursday for Wagtails.
All children will need their own named water bottle. These are kept in trays in the classrooms so they can access them as and when they need to.
All children require an indoor PE kit for this half term consisting of - named green shorts and t-shirt (plain or school logo) in a named PE bag. Children with earrings should have their earrings removed or taped up before school.
The new astro turf in our outdoor area
Our new astro turf
Over the Summer we had astro turf laid in the grassed outdoor area. Previously we had found it difficult to maintain this area as grass did not grow in certain areas making it boggy and inaccessible during extended rainy periods. Now the children will be able to access it all year round thanks to the PTA and the school.
