In Key Stage 1 online safety is embedded through our Rising Stars program (see document below). Every topic has a range of links including being safe on the internet, taking videos, sending emails and keeping passwords and usernames private. We also use the Hectors World online safety clips as an age appropriate way of developing the children's E-safety knowledge even further. One clip is shown every half term and each clip is covered once in Year 1 and then revisited again in Year 2 (see links to the six clips below). The clips are used as a discussion point to develop the children's knowledge and build on any online safety knowledge that the children may already have.
