Eagles and Falcons

Hello Eagles and Falcons. Finally - THE RETURN OF YEAR 4!!!! We cannot wait to see all of you who are coming back to school this week. We've got lots of fun activities planned so that we can enjoy these last few weeks of term together.

If you are not coming in, don't worry, the online learning will continue and we will speak to you regularly. Keep going with your rockstarts and spellzone too. Remember to keep checking the You Tube channel for the next chapters of Amy Wilde.

See you soon hopefully :-)

The Year 4 team xx

The big battle of last week was eventually won by the students.  The final score was incredible:  38,486 to the teachers and an amazing 50,853 to the students.  There was a fierce battle between Kai and Mr Bellamy who both scored over 24,000 points each!  Some fabulous contributions made by Rosie, Evelyn, Freya, Samuel, Kalen and Matthew.  Well done to everyone who joined in.

This week there will be a battle between Falcons and this space...

Our Co-ordinates Work

Amy made a rainforest presentation and quiz for you to have a go at. Thank you Amy.

If you have any work to share, please ask your parents to email it to FAO Mrs Turner or Mrs Pickering.

Spring 1 Enrichment - Judo!

British Values Day

On British Values Day, the whole school were learning about being a democracy. In Year 4 the children were organised into four political parties who were campaigning for £100 to spend on a box of activities to undertake as part of our Enrichment afternoons. The four groups were Yellow - Rapid Recipes (a variety of healthy snacks to make), Blue - Mess Makers (Creative Crafts), Red - Smarty Pants (strategic games) and Green - Calm Kids (activities and crafts to promote mindfulness).

The four parties made their speeches in assembly and then every child in the school voted. The winner was ............. The Blue Party. Look out for the Creative Craft enrichment box coming soon.
