Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. All schools receive a Pupil Premium Grant from the Government - based on the number of children receiving free school meals, looked after children, or children with parents in service.

Diminishing the difference between our disadvantaged pupils' achievements and their peers is a whole school priority and we are fully committed to meeting the social, emotional, and academic needs of all of our pupils. We ensure that the funding is spent with the mindset of having the greatest impact on the pupils both educationally and holistically.

Please see our Pupil Premium Strategy below for further details on how we specifically spend our funding.

Central Bedfordshire Free School Meals - Auto-Enrolment

Central Bedfordshire have made it even easier for eligible families to get free school meals- helping your child eat well at school, giving your family extra support, and boosting funding for their school.

If your child qualifies, they'll enjoy healthy, tasty meals every day at school and you could get extra help during the holidays. Many families in Central Bedfordshire already use this support - it's a positive way to help with household costs and support your child's education.

Click the link below for more information, or call 0300 300 8000 for more information or if you think you are eligible but not receiving support.

If you live outside of Central Bedfordshire then please contact the school who will be able to advise you on what to do to access the support where you live as each county has slightly different systems to register your child.
