Pre-Reception is not mandatory and is aimed at children aged around 3 and a half, in the year before they start in Main School (Reception).  Admissions are managed by the school, following our admissions criteria.  Children attend Pre-Reception on 5 mornings or 5 afternoons at a minimum. This can be extended to become a full day depending on availability.  Applications for Pre-Reception can be made at any time using the Pre-Reception Application Form.

We expect children attending our Pre-Reception class to have good attendance.  Consistently poor attendance may result in the withdrawal of your place.

Applications for Pre-Reception places for the academic year 2026  (DOBs 1/9/2022-31/08/2023) should be made by 17 April 2026.  Please contact the school after this date if you would like your child to be added to our waiting list.
