In the guidance published on August 18th, the government states “As COVID-19 becomes a virus that we learn to live with, there is now an imperative to reduce the disruption to children and young people’s education - particularly given that the direct clinical risks to children are extremely low.”

Learning may be interrupted for children who are required to isolate or are waiting for test results to arrive. In this instance there will be online learning available via the Oak Academy to be completed if children are well enough to work from home but unable to attend school. A list of lessons to be completed by year group is shared at the beginning of every half term, and will be sent to individual families as and when required.
