Ducks

This half term we move on to our new topic- Eggciting Times. This topic is all about new life and the children will learn about this through incubating eggs. This year we will be incubating hens eggs and learning about the development of a chick inside the egg and growth once they hatch. This is a wonderful topic that helps the children understand life cycles and changes that happen. We are hoping that you will count down the days with us to hatching day.

As the weather gets warmer, please ensure your child has a named water bottle at school. We suggest this is not kept in their bookbag as they tend to leak. Children should also have weather appropriate clothing- sunhat, no sunglasses thank you, and a coat.

Forest School activities take place every Wednesday so we suggest warmer clothing should be worn while the weather is so changeable. Long socks are advisable as wellies might rub their legs.
