Clubs & Activities

There are lots of extra curricular activities happening at Greenleas, and these vary depending upon the time of year. Our Breakfast Club and After School Club provide quality childcare provision every school day from 8am - 6.00pm.

Bookings for the activities and clubs on this page can be made with forms that can be downloaded direct from this site. Please return the forms to school.

We also offer French classes, sports clubs, a range of music lessons and other occasional activities such as pottery classes, art club and chess club.  Information about which clubs are available and which days they are provided is sent home every term.  Our current list of clubs can be downloaded.

La Jolie Ronde offer French classes three times a week for different age groups. It offers high quality content and progressive teaching methods, giving children the opportunity to develop an enthusiasm for languages.

Music Lessons

Arts and music in particular, are also highly valued. We have a dedicated music teacher who works with every class each week. Choir is held at 2.45pm on Tuesdays within the school day. 

This allows all children who wish to participate in the choir to do so. The choir regularly sings at school and outside events. Children throughout the school are often involved in Concerts

For older children there are opportunities, in conjunction with Bedfordshire County music staff, to learn a range of instruments such as violin, cello, percussion, guitar and recorders.

Cookery

After school cookery classes are provided by Kiddy Cook run by Charlotte Carr.We are really pleased to continue to offer children in Year 2, 3 and 4 the opportunity to join this popular after school cooking club run by Kiddy Cook. The clubs will run after the half term holiday on Wednesdays and Fridays after school from 3.30-4.30pm and will cost £4.50 per week. Sports Clubs

Mr Norris our PE coach runs several before and after school sports clubs every week during the school year.

There are many sporting activities including football on Saturdays. Before and after school sports clubs include football skills training, golf, tennis, basketball, badminton, speed and agility, dance, cheerleading and netball. Karate clubs for Greenleas children and Middle School children are run by Frank Nezhadpournia. Saturday morning football is offered through Linslade Greenleas Football Club.
